Overview
PropertyBoss offers an integration with ePremium to help property management companies connect renters insurance services to PropertyBoss. ePremium provides renters insurance solutions, policy monitoring, compliance tracking, and related resident insurance tools for multifamily and single-family rental properties.
What the ePremium integration supports
Once configured, the ePremium integration gives authorized PropertyBoss users access to insurance information through PropertyBoss and provides residents with insurance-related options through the Resident Portal. With the integration:
- Property teams can access ePremium insurance tools from PropertyBoss when the integration is enabled for a property.
- Residents can enroll in renters insurance from the Resident Portal.
- Residents can upload proof of third-party insurance coverage.
- Clients can review submitted proof of coverage through ePremium’s IRIS dashboard.
- Availability may depend on the services enabled with ePremium and the client’s configuration.
How residents may use ePremium
If enabled for your community, residents may see an Insurance section in the Resident Portal. From there, they can follow the available links to enroll in renters insurance, upload proof of existing coverage, or review minimum insurance requirements. These links direct residents to ePremium pages where they can complete the applicable insurance steps.
Getting started with setup
To begin setup, contact Garland Ferrell at gferrell@propertyboss.com. Garland can help coordinate the initial request and confirm the information needed to connect your PropertyBoss account to ePremium.
After the request is started, PropertyBoss and ePremium coordinate the technical connection. ePremium onboarding typically begins after the connection has been confirmed. Setup timing may vary, but a general estimate is about 30 days for multifamily clients and 45 days for single-family clients.
Information you may be asked to provide
During setup, you may be asked to confirm which properties or communities should use the integration, whether renters insurance is required at those locations, and which ePremium services should be available to residents. PropertyBoss or ePremium may request additional setup details as needed.
Important notes
- ePremium is the source of truth for insurance information used by the integration.
- Insurance information for the ePremium integration is not stored directly in PropertyBoss.
- Some features may require additional setup with ePremium before they are available in PropertyBoss or the Resident Portal.
