Supported Environment Statement
PropertyBoss in the Hosted environment is designed and tested for use on Windows 11 64-bit systems. While some older operating systems may function, PropertyBoss Support may require clients to upgrade to a supported operating system before advanced troubleshooting can be provided.
Important Note
PropertyBoss Hosted environment performance depends not only on workstation specifications, but also on internet connectivity, network stability, monitor resolution, and local security configurations. Clients are encouraged to maintain current operating system updates and supported browser versions to ensure optimal performance and security.
Apple macOS Compatibility
PropertyBoss is designed for and supported on Microsoft Windows operating systems only.
Apple macOS is not a supported operating system for PropertyBoss. Clients using macOS must run a licensed Windows environment through virtualization software, such as Parallels Desktop, and that Windows environment must meet all PropertyBoss system requirements.
The client is responsible for any additional expenses associated with purchasing and installing virtualization software and a licensed Windows operating system.
Apple macOS Support Assistance
PropertyBoss Support is limited to the Windows operating system and PropertyBoss software. Support for Apple hardware, macOS, Parallels Desktop, virtualization configurations, or other third-party software is not provided.
If a reported issue is determined to be related to macOS, virtualization software, or the Apple device itself, clients may be required to work with their internal IT resources, Apple, or the virtualization software vendor for assistance.
QuickBooks Requirements
This section outlines the minimum requirements for integration between PropertyBoss and QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks Desktop refers to the locally installed version of QuickBooks that is downloaded to and accessed from a workstation or server, rather than the online version of QuickBooks.
Supported QuickBooks Products
PropertyBoss supports integration with QuickBooks Desktop only.
- At this time, QuickBooks Online is not supported.
QuickBooks Version Requirements
Clients must maintain a currently supported version of QuickBooks Desktop.
PropertyBoss follows Intuit's QuickBooks Desktop support lifecycle and sunset schedule. When Intuit discontinues support for a QuickBooks Desktop version, PropertyBoss will also discontinue support for PropertyBoss integration assistance related to that version.
QuickBooks Desktop Environment Requirements
- QuickBooks Desktop installed and licensed in accordance with Intuit requirements
- A QuickBooks Desktop version currently supported by Intuit
- Appropriate QuickBooks permissions for users performing accounting and integration activities
- Access to the QuickBooks company file
- Stable local network connectivity if QuickBooks data is stored on a server
QuickBooks Support Policy
PropertyBoss Support can assist with PropertyBoss integration-related issues for currently supported QuickBooks Desktop versions. PropertyBoss Support does not provide support for QuickBooks software, company file maintenance, accounting setup, Intuit licensing, local QuickBooks installation issues, or local/network QuickBooks environment issues.
Clients using unsupported QuickBooks Desktop versions may be required to upgrade before PropertyBoss Support can assist with PropertyBoss integration-related issues.
For information regarding currently supported QuickBooks Desktop versions and retirement dates, please refer to Intuit's official sunset schedule.
Important Support Notice
PropertyBoss support is provided for supported operating systems, supported PropertyBoss software versions, and supported QuickBooks Desktop versions when the issue is related to the PropertyBoss integration.
Clients running unsupported operating systems, unsupported QuickBooks Desktop versions, or discontinued third-party software may be required to upgrade before troubleshooting or support can be provided.
Maintaining supported software versions helps ensure security, compatibility, performance, and continued access to vendor provided updates and fixes.
