Vendor Work Order Report prints an extra blank page

Workarounds:

  • Manually delete the blank page after printing.
  • Remove the blank page using a PDF editor.
  • Use an alternative print method: Navigate to Work Orders.
  • Select the report.
  • Choose Action > Print List.
  • Adjust column widths so all data fits on one page.

 

 

Rental applications print excessively long Cause:

 

Some browsers expand dropdown menus (e.g., state lists) during printing.

Resolution Steps:

 

Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (avoid Safari).

Confirm browser zoom is set to 100%.

Select the browser's built-in Save as PDF option.

Avoid third-party PDF plugins and Microsoft Print to PDF.

Test printing in a Private/Incognito window to rule out extension issues.

 

 

 

 

Display & Media Uploads

 

Font or sizing issues due to monitor settings Fix – Change default monitor (Windows):

 Right-click the desktop and select Display settings.

Select the correct monitor (1, 2, or 3).

Enable Make this my main display.

 If the monitor is not visible, ensure it is powered on and click Detect.

 

 

Uploading media files into PBO Standard Upload Process:

 

Log in to PBO and click the chain link icon.

Navigate to the Green C.

Right-click and select Upload Files.

On the User Upload screen, click the (+) button or drag and drop files.

Click Save, then attach the file to the tenant, property, or lease.

 

Troubleshooting:

If the User Upload screen does not populate: Log in directly at online.propertyboss.net.

Click your Profile icon.

Select User Upload.

 

 

 

 

 

Security & Antivirus Conflicts

 

Norton Antivirus blocking the PropertyBoss RDP client Cause:

 

Norton may incorrectly flag the PBO client as a security risk.

Resolution – Add an Exception

Windows (App URL Monitoring):

 Open Norton.

Go to Settings > Firewall (or Network).

Select Intrusion and Browser Protection.

Click Configure next to App URL Monitoring Exclusions.

Add the PropertyBoss URL/domain and click Apply.


Mac (Safe Web Exclusions):

Open Norton.

Click Security > Safe Web.

Select the Exclusions tab.

Click Add exclusion.

Enter the PropertyBoss URL and choose Don't scan.
