Why PropertyBoss May Look Too Small

PropertyBoss is now an online program that runs in a web browser instead of being installed on your computer. 


Because of this change, PropertyBoss uses your computer’s screen and display settings. It no longer controls how large or small text and buttons appear. 


On high-resolution screens, especially 4K monitors, things can look smaller than expected. This is normal and can be fixed using one of the options below.


Quick Fix Options

Choose the option that works best for you.


1. Use a Different Monitor

This is the recommended solution.

  • Use a monitor that is not 4K
  • Use a physically larger monitor if available
    • Office monitors often display PropertyBoss at a comfortable size
  • If you already have a second monitor, try opening PropertyBoss on that screen.
    • Setting the larger monitor as the default screen is also recommended. 


2. Connect an External Monitor

If you are using a laptop, connecting an external monitor can improve readability.


Quick Steps

  1. Plug the monitor into your computer
  2. Turn on the monitor
  3. Right-click on your desktop
  4. Select Display settings
  5. Under Multiple displays choose Extend these displays
  6. Open PropertyBoss on the external monitor and check the size.


3. Change Screen Scaling

If you cannot change monitors, you can adjust your screen size in Windows. This makes text and buttons larger across your screen.


Quick Steps

  1. Right-click on your desktop
  2. Select Display settings
  3. Find Scale and layout
  4. Change the scale to 125 percent or 150 percent
  5. Close and reopen your browser
