What is the Preview User Program?


The Preview User Program gives clients the opportunity to try early access or beta versions of new PropertyBoss features before they are released to everyone. Participation in the program allows you to influence the tools you use every day and stay ahead with new functionality. 


A few important notes before signing up:

  • Space is limited. We carefully select participants to ensure we have a balanced mix of company sizes and management types.
  • Joining the interest list. Once you complete the survey, your name will be added to our interest list. This does not guarantee immediate access, but it ensures you’ll be considered when new opportunities arise.
  • Our process. When a beta becomes available, we will reach out directly to selected participants. If you’re offered a spot but no longer wish to participate, you can simply decline at that time.


What’s the difference between beta testing and early access?


We offer two different ways for clients to see new features before they are widely released:

  • Beta Testing – Beta features are still in development. We invite a small group of clients to test them out, explore how they work, and share feedback. Because the product is not final, you may run into bugs. Your input directly helps shape the final version. Beta products/features are not 100% guaranteed to become a part of the production environment. 
  • Early Access – Early access features are guaranteed to become a part of the production environment. They've passed inspection in the test environment and now need to be put to use in the production environment. You’ll be among the first to benefit from the new tools, and your feedback is still needed, though the focus is more on real-world use rather than testing for bugs. 


In short, beta testing is helping PropertyBoss sew the shirt together, while early access is helping to iron out the wrinkles.


Expectations of Early Access Users and Beta Testers


Beta Testers

  • Purpose: Help us test and improve new features before general release.
  • Product Status: Features are still in development and may have bugs or incomplete functionality.
  • Your Role: Explore the product, identify issues, and provide detailed feedback on your experience.
  • Time Commitment: Varies, but regular feedback is required to make your participation meaningful.
  • Paperwork: Receive the PropertyBoss Beta and Early Access Software License Agreement 


Early Access Users

  • Purpose: Experience new features before they are widely available.
  • Product Status: Features are fairly stable and almost ready for regular use.
  • Your Role: Use the product in your normal operations and share any feedback you have.
  • Time Commitment: Integrate the feature into your daily workflow and report any functions that don’t work as expected or cause operational issues. 
  • Paperwork: Receive the PropertyBoss Beta and Early Access Software License Agreement
