This release includes several enhancements to current features. The changes you will notice include:


Enhancements

  • To support Users ability to create additional screening requests from Applicant Screening Navigator, the 'Open Prospect' button has been revised to 'View Account'. When selected, the program will identify whether the selected person is a Prospect or Lease record and open to the 'Screening' tab of the correct Notebook.
  • On the Contacts tab of the Prospect Notebook, the display label 'Income' has been updated to 'Monthly Income' to bring consistency to how this data field is displayed throughout the program.
  • The field 'Future Rent' is required for submitting credit screening requests. 
    • This field has been added to the Contact Notebook and relocated on the Prospect Notebook to standardize the data entry location for primary and co-applicant contacts. 
    • A future rent amount entered on the Contact Notebook will update the Prospect Notebook and vice versa. 
    • When creating a screening request, the future rent amount will auto-populate in the screening window. 
    • While the screening request is in a created status, edits made to future rent in the screening window will update the field on the Contact & Prospect Notebooks and vice versa. Once submitted, the screening window is locked for editing to retain the information submitted, and edits made on the Contact or Prospect Notebooks will auto-populate on brand-new screening requests.
  • Some display labels and message prompt wording have been updated to the screening module:
    • When a User selects an Applicant where ‘Request ID:’ is present, the alert message now reads ‘You must select an Applicant without a Report (Request ID)'.
    • 'Vendor Request ID' display label has been shortened to 'Request ID' for consistency when viewing this information from the Lease/Prospect Notebooks or the Screening Navigator. 
    • When at least one applicant has been submitted for a screening, the button to submit a remaining applicant now reads ‘Submit Another Applicant'. 
  • A new User security role called 'propertyboss' appears for PB support account Users. PB support account Users also contain asterisk characters in their User ID names. Changes made in Client domains by PB support accounts will list the PB Support Account Username. Thiis does not affect client User names.



Release Notes for Web Portals


An update will be released to the PropertyBoss portals on February 20, 2025. 

Bug Corrections

  • The 'Date From' and the 'Date To' dates in the Resident/Prospect & Owner Portals now accurately represent the date ranges that are selectable from the 'Date' dropdown menu. 


Enhancements

  • The portals will handle special characters more easily when tenant/owner web activity contains said special characters.
