Release Notes for 10.03i6

This release addresses bug fixes and includes enhancements to current features. The changes you will notice include:

 

Bug Corrections

  • The A111 AutoPost Transaction Log report honors the conditions requested on the report. It can be run for activity of the last 60 days or a specific date range that does not include dates before the last 60 days. 
  • The A440 Repeating Charges report honors the 'Select Only Active Leases' checkbox and retrieves the report without error. 
  • If an eSign request is initiated for a Prospect or Lease account where the second or subsequent signers are missing an email address, the request will not be processed and the User is directed to enter the missing information before resubmitting the eSign request.
  • When a User attempts to send an email reminder to a Signer more than once an hour, a message appears explaining that the reminder cannot be sent.  
  • When more than one inspection is selected for printing, the files will default to print to PDF to the User's local pb_reports 'saved' folder. File names will include:
    • Username that initiated printing
    • Inspection Number
    • Property
    • Unit (if applicable)
    • Lease Start Date
    • MonthDay
    • Time


Enhancements

  • The program was updated to support interfacing information from PropertyBoss Hosted to Intuit QuickBooks 2025 Desktop programs.
  • The 'Print 1096 Form' button was restricted to the O280 and V280 'Print 1099 Forms from PropertyBoss' option. 
  • The B310 Deposit Summary report highlights when payments included in the report haven't yet cleared the payment processor. All warning messages have been formatted the same (bolded, blue, italicized) to call attention to exceptions consistently.
  • The Letters screen shows Users if an eSign request could not be delivered to the recipient due to an email bounce or an invalid email. 
  • Screening: A required 'Email' field was added to the 'Credit Report Applicant' screening window. If the 'Email' field on the Contact Notebook contains an email address prior to the creation of the screening request, the data will auto-populate the required field. If not, the field is required to be completed before a screening request can be submitted. Data entered for the field in the screening window auto-populate the field on the Contact Notebook.
  • Screening: 'Screening Response' web activity is visible and actionable to Users with the 'Submit Credit/Criminal Reports' permission under Add-On Modules: Applicant Screening.
    • Screening: The 'Screening Response' web activity is now reflected in the number displayed for the 'New Web Activity' count for Users with sufficient permissions. 
  • Screening: When a 'Create Lease for Prospect' activity action is taken for a Prospect, a warning message appears. The warning message was updated to better reflect the status of the applicant's screening request and the decision status entered by a User for the User to make a final decision about whether or not to proceed with creating a lease for a prospect. 



Future Security Notification 

  • A security warning will be added to the PropertyBoss login process. Its purpose is to help protect your data and provide explicit notification that unauthorized access is prohibited. Click OK to move past the screen. 



Release Notes for Web Portals


Several enhancements will be released to the PropertyBoss portals on October 24, 2024. You will see:

  • Updated sorting functionality - Sorting now works when trying to bring bottom information to the top of the report and sending the bottom results back to the bottom of the report. 
  • MaintTech Portal - Pagination added to the work orders screen. This improves page load time and performance, and decreases scrolling.
