If you submit a screening report and a long, technical error message pops up that looks similar to this:

one or more pieces of information in the screening request are formatted incorrectly.
The most common formatting mistakes are the following:
- Social security numbers. They should look like ***-**-#### (3 numbers dash 2 numbers dash 4 numbers)
- Date of birth. The year listed needs to be before the current year.
- Zip codes. They must contain five numbers.
- Monthly income. The amount needs to be $1.00 or more.
Correct the data on the Credit Report Applicant window or the contact's notebook. When corrected in one area, it will automatically update in the other area.
