When you create a new screening request, you may see a “Missing Data” message next to one or more of the contacts eligible for screening. 




There are several ways to address missing data:

  • If you do not need to screen the contact who has “Missing Data” next to their name, no action is needed.
  • If you do need to screen the contact who has “Missing Data” next to their name, do the following:
    • Double-click on the contact’s name. A small window called Credit Report Applicant opens.
    • Enter the missing data.* Dark blue fields are required.


  • While the window is open, review all the data and make sure it is accurate and formatted correctly
    • SSNs are ***-**-####
    • Date of births do not include the current year
    • Zip codes have 5 numbers
    • The Monthly Income amount is more than $0.00.
  • Click OK.
  • The Missing Data message is replaced by a checkbox, allowing you to select the contact.



* Filling in the missing data on the Credit Report Applicant window will also fill in the data for the contact in the Prospect’s Navigator and vice versa. Duplicate data entry is not needed.



Screening – Monthly Income

Monthly Income is a required field for all applicants, regardless of your screening package. See Monthly Income - Required Field
