Release Notes for 10.03i2

Released 7/17/2024

This release addresses bug fixes and includes enhancements to current features. Some changes you will notice:

Enhancements

  • Users with sufficient permissions can only delete a screening report if it is in the 'Created' status. The program denies request for deletion if report is in a status other than 'Created' as the screening request has already been sent to the screening provider for processing.
  • Once a screening request has been submitted to the service provider, the request cannot be retracted; therefore, the 'Cancel this Screening' button has been removed. Screening requests in the 'Created' status can be deleted.
  • If signers of an eSign document have the same email address, regardless of capitalization, the program will alert the User of the conflict and the eSign document won't be sent. The User should review the Contact Notebook of the reported contacts > revise the email addresses so they are unique > and attempt resending.
  • The error messaging was improved for eSign documents that receive Error Code: 400 such that the User has more information to understand why the action attempted failed to execute.
  • If the program has difficulty accessing a Prospect or Tenant eSign media file on the PB server for User viewing, the message to the User says: "Although the file is marked complete, the document on the PropertyBoss server is inaccessible. Please contact Client Care for document assistance."
  • If an eSign letter fails to send, the A112 Print Letter Log will reflect the failure. If sending the letter to a Prospect, the status doesn't change for the Prospect if a status change is defined for the Prospect Activity under Setup Preferences > Prospect CRM > Prospect Activities.

Bug Corrections

  • Users with sufficient permissions can preview certification documents.
  • When printing checks where many bills are being paid, the check stub portion of the printout includes all bills paid.
  • Specific to clients who use taxes with multiple owners per property: 'Reversals are hidden on the O260 and O261 reports.

Release Notes for 10.03i3

Released 7/23/2024

This release addresses bug fixes and includes enhancements to current features. Some changes you will notice:

Enhancements

  • Once a screening request has been submitted to the service provider, the contact and rental information entered for the person on the screening window becomes read-only. Submitted screenings cannot be deleted from PropertyBoss.
  • canceledThe "Cancel" button has been removed from the screening report window. Screenings cannot be cancelled after submission, so the button removal eliminates User confusion.

Bug Corrections

  • Sporadic User error no longer occurs when interacting with the PB General Ledger.
    • In addition to the bug fix, users are encouraged to update the closing date each month. (Setup Preferences > Closing Preferences > Close Changes Date). The further this date is away from the current date, the more transactions, calculations, and data PropertyBoss has to compute on each program window.
    • Best practice is to close the monthly accounting period to avoid changes to reconciled data and minimize the program's analysis of months/years of data.
  • Once the required information has been added to a person's screening window, the 'Missing Data' message disappears next to the Contact on the submittal page.
  • A156 Report - This report can only be printed or printed to PDF. The option to open/save as a .xlsx file has been removed.
